I haven't bought a sleeve for my X60 but sometimes look at the £15 sleeves available in Currys / PC World. The X60 would feel a little lost in the 17" Crumpler sleeve, but I see that the nominal dimensions of the 15.4" version are smaller than the X60. The neoprene will stretch a little, but the sleeve is about 2cm small on the front-to-back dimension - probably too much to stretch. The Targus bag at Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos...42231-0580443?_encoding=UTF8&m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
is quite large for a nominal 15.4" size, but is relatively inexpensive.

    Hello there

I got a well nice sleeve from the apple store on Oxford Street in london. Yes i know it pained me to walk through their store and pay money, but the end product was very nice indeed. Its a lycropene 15.4" screen and fits the X60 so snuggly that it was probably designed for one and not an apple.

Check them out on the apple website too.

    Cheers

Thanks to the advice of Jamie, I bought the same apple case. It really fits! Thank you for the tip!

Hi - just picked up an X60plus today, and am keen to find a suitable sleeve for it. jimjam - I've had a look on the Apple UK store and couldn't see any mention of a lycropene 15.4" sleeve. Don't suppose you have a link to the sleeve that worked for you?

    Thanks!

I've got 2 sleeves that fit the X60 plus:

    1. The standard 15.4" neoprene sleeve from PC World / Currys. I think they were selling them for around £13 when I bought it.

    2. A 15" becase sleeve as reviewed here. At the moment this is the one I'm using, inside another bag because it is less bulky.

Thanks for your advice. I dropped by the Apple store today and picked up the incase 15" macbook pro neoprene sleeve for £19. It's a bit of a tight fit, but the X60 squeezes in without too much trouble.

Now all I need to do is find a decent bag to carry it all around in - I'm thinking crumpler..

Yes, tight fit, but the case will expand a bit with time and at that point it will be the perfect fit.
As for the bag, I am more than happy with my Toshiba Laptop rucksack. Unfortunately I don't remember the type and I could not find it in the e-shops either.

Anyway, any 15.4" laptop bag will do BUT you have to keep in mind, that the X60 is about 4cm wider, than regular 15.4" laptops, that is, it is 36cm wide, not 32-33cm. So look for a backback that features such a wide notebook compartment.

If you have got a sleeve then there is less need to look for a computer bag. This opens up the choice of design and style, and a bag which doesn't look like a computer bag reduces the likelihood of theft.

WH Smiths were selling some Swissgear bags at £20 upwards. It may be worth looking to see if they have any remaining. At that price range they are good value.
