I am working on a Samsunf N140 netbook which has been amazing. Just in the last week or so I have experiences two sudden going to sleep events.... the N140 goes into standby without any reason to do so and no overload on system. Anything I should check ?

Also I want a new device as a back up, am between the N230 and the new N350. I do need a lot of battery time and not sure with that 3 cell on the N350. Can one get a 6 cell ? Also any other advice / opinion appreciated on these 2 models.

    Thanks

Event Viewer's system log should have a record of the standby events and may give a clue about the cause.

I can't help about possible backup models but they will struggle to match the N140's battery time. If you are shopping in the UK then you can get another N140 here.
