 Thanks for the replies regarding the Q35 screen. Think that has sorted me out well enough - and thanks to John for his strong comments .... appreciated.
Just as I am about to plunge into the Samsung Q35 laptop world, I read something on another thread that shows how ignorant some of us are about what operating systems and such are the best.
The Q35 comes with Vista, but did I read somewhere that I should opt for XP Pro or something else?!!
I use XP on my deskbound PC monolith and have no real knowledge of anything else!
I'm simply writing, PPointing, organising, storing photos and watching DVDs .... should I go for this Vista stuff or bury my head in shame and ask for ........................... what?
Much appreciations for your patience folks.

If you don't like tweaking around with your OS, Vista will be fine
