    Dumb question here!

I recently puchased a Samsung Series 9 laptop (03A) and now cannot change the brightness or keyboard backlight using the shortcut keys. Any idea what would cause this? I can still change the volume and wireless settings...

I also notice that when I change the the volume now there is no on screen display that pops up.

    Thank you in advance!

Any ideas? I have till tomorrow to exchange if this is an issue... Seems as though it is software related though.

    Have same issue...

It has to do with the Easy Display Manager. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the program. You can get the program on the Samsung site under download for your model.
