    Hi!

I think we all agree that the Samsung NC10 and NC20 are getting all the rage at the moment because they are the best netbooks on the market. They are frequently out of stock because they are so popular. Therefore can someone explain to me why they do not appear in the top 10 on this very site: http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=4877 (they don't even get a top 20 entry!)

They don't even appear in the top 50 most viewed laptops for this site: http://www.notebookreview.com/best_laptops/default.asp

    Am I missing something?

There's a correlation between the most marketed netbooks and the most-viewed-laptop list here. Just look at what's #1 and #2: Dell Mini 9 and of course, Acer Aspire One, both of which have the best marketing campaigns in America -- but not the best netbooks.

I think Samsung are able to sell all that they make without having big marketing campaigns.

Samsung announced early in 2008 that they would expand their notebook production. They also started setting in the USA in the second half of 2008.

So far, there have been no reviews of Samsung notebooks and netbooks by the NBR resident staff so you find that Samsung only gets a mention in the last sentence of the netbook buyers guide without a link to the review hosted on the NBR site. This can't help.

However, should we complain? If awareness and demand increase then prices may go up!

Sure I'm not complaining, I feel blessed to live in the UK for once :)
So then, until they get the recognition they deserve, I will just keep wearing that smirky arrogant face, you know, the face of people in the know =))
