Got my NC 10 yesterday. Did the Samsung update, starting with the BIOS flash. Seems the same 4 updates keep coming up even after I d/l and install them. Is this normal? Does Samsung have some minimum time upgrades appear? I am used to Windows update or OS X update where once you update, the programs realize you don't need that upgrade any longer and quit displaying it...

In my experience the Samsung Update software doesn't find any updates, so you must be getting my share. :D

Did you reboot after the installing the updates?

LOL. Yep, sure did, had no choice on the BIOS flash, automatic reboot. Therer were four for me...BIOS flash, a WLAN update, a network tool update, and can't recall the fourth (don't have NC-10 with me at the moment). The BIOS flash was dated early Dec 08, so I'm guessing my unit was sitting somewhere for a bit, which might explain why I had some updates.

Got a whole weekend to play with it, so I'll get it figured out. Was curious if it was an issue, but appears not since you don't get any =) .

    John,
The Samsung Update works now. The first thing it does is update the Samsung Update itself.

    Shirt,
I didn't have any problems with the Update except for the Atheros Wifi driver (took a long time and deleted my old driver w/out installing a new one). It does update the other drivers and realizes that they are updated.
