Hello, I just reformated my NC10 and Firefox seems to be VERY slow at booting up. It takes about 30sec before the window appears. When I click on IE7 it boots up intstantly unlike Firefox. Any idea? or is it that IE7 is always running in the background?

I assume that you are using Vista? At any rate, you may want to try reinstalling Firefox and checking the extensions you have installed.

y'know i think im experiecing the same thing with firefox.. on all my pc's not just my nc10.

i think its just firefox bloating itself out with cache data and stuff. you could try cleaning that out (careful with the options for that in tools because you can clear all your saved passwords and everything which makes it a pain to redo on all sites)

but i dont personally think that firefox is all that anymore. its just got too bloated and lost its streamlined nature.
google chrome is far faster because its got no bloat to it. it will have in time, but not now.
