I'm torn between Blue and White, but my question is more about the finish (glossy vs matte) than the actual color. I'm concerned about smudges and fingerprints.

Unfortunately I can't find an NC10 anywhere, so I haven't seen the colors / finishes in person.

For those that have seen a Blue and White NC10 in person, just how bad is the glossy Blue with smudges and fingerprints? And likewise, how much better is the matte White?

    Thanks!

I had the same concern. The Samsung netbooks seem to have no retail channels. No retailers here in FL have them that I can find. I watched several youtube unboxing vids of the NC10. I went with black (the worst for showing prints and smudges) because the SE only comes that way...but even if I didn't get the special edition, I would have gone black because I think it's the best for resale....and i always sell my current laptop to get my next one...resale is important to me and black will sell, no problems.

there is also the possibility of doing a skin, which I think will be the case for me.

As for white and blue...wife thought white was a little gay'ish. and blue with the black keyboard wasn't a look I appreciated.

Just my .02 cents. Best luck, whatever you decide!

    Thanks!

If the glossy black NC10 is anything like the glossy black finish used on my Harmony One remote, the smudges would simply drive me nuts. :) It's a shame that the SE version doesn't come in any other colors... it looks like a winner. Good luck with it, by the way.

I might have to go with white, simply because it's matte instead of glossy. I'm probably safest that way.

Well, I decided to go with White.

I ordered it from Amazon with overnight shipping, so it should be here tomorrow.

Yeah, I almost ordered an NC10 Special Edition at the last minute, but that glossy black finish would just drive me nuts. :)

By the way, I use that Zagg product on my camera. It's good stuff.
