When I first received my Chronos 14" (NP700Z3A-S05US), Skyrim ran fine, as you can see here:

Recently, I tried running it again, and the graphics are no longer working right at all. All of the shaded terrain and models are gone. I am now only getting UI, particle effects, water, trees, and sky.

I am running the latest drivers (VGA_AMD_8.951.9.3000). I haven't noticed any problems with any of my other games recently, so I'm a bit baffled.

You wonderful folks on this forum have a lot of great specific knowledge about these Sammies, so I'm wondering if any of you have any clues what on earth might have gone wrong. Skyrim does not use OpenGL, so it should not have been affected one way or the other by the OpenGL fix in the recent drivers. Was there another change in the drivers that might have caused this problem?
