I need to attach a new front bezel to this laptop that I purchased from eBay and came without it,wondering what are the silver springy metal bit for as they don't seem to be flush with the rest of the panel ? Thanx [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

The silver spongy bits are often used to provide electrical continuity. I presume that either the bezel is metal or the paint is slightly conductive.
