I'm trying to watch some HD web content in full screen and it seems like its showing it at 640x480 ( about as far from HD as is humanly possible). Even though i have assigned the particular program to High performance in the switchable graphics. It's no where near HD
I'm slowly starting to become despondent with this machine. Issue number 4 for me now. Is this the reason they are all out of stock in the UK .. Samsung have decided that enough is enough ?

I am aware of the graphics switching problems , but thought if you assigned the program to high performance it should work ok.

    anyone ?

it is a problem with flash and upscaling to the resolution 1600x900.
you will notice that if you change your resolution to 1280x720, the problem disappears.

    Nice one !
Is this a fault that lies firmly at the door of adobe or is it one of these grey areas that nobody will take responsibility ?

It is most likely in the grey area between Adobe and the GPU Drivers, but I noticed that it seems to work better in IE than in Chrome, so I installed IE Tab and use that in Chrome when I watch YouTube and it works just fine. But YouTube HD in Chrome without any modification shows the exact same problems as you say.

i think it id not a gpu problem per se, it is just lack of support for this 1600x900 resolution, as it is not very popular. generally you will either have 720p or 1080p. 900p is somewhat of a middle ground in between, so the upscaling probably messes up from 720p, and the downscaling also messes up fom 1080p... nobody knows. maybe if this screen res becomes popular, adobe will support it better
