    Hi

So ive upgraded my Samsung up to 12gbit DDR3 ram, after a while i discovered that its getting quite, no wonder.

Is there a way or anything app, to speed up the fan or does any1 have a solution. I did try to raise the laptop so it could get cooler air under it.

Any help is good help, because i dont really know what to do? Or should i just downgrade it? - then i wont be able to play SCII clean.

Is it the RAM or the computer that is getting quite hot?

Either way, I would check the cooling system first making sure that the airflow is not impeded by accumulated dust and, if that is OK, the next step is to remount the heat sink using new thermal paste (a very thin layer, not chewing gum thickness).
