    Hey everyone,

I just picked up a Chronos Series 7 laptop. I love it so far. The only problem is, I notice that on my trackpad my right click corner looks pressed in. When I use it to do a legitimate right click, it isn't springy and sounds like its got a slight crackle to it-like packing tape being stuck then unstuck again.

It works, it's just that the rebound sound and clickability is gone. I had one previously, about 2 weeks ago that I took back to try out another laptop. I cam back to the 7. I like it, but is it plagued with hardware issues like this?

I'm sure that I can just go swap it out with another at the store. I am just wondering if anyone has had this issue, if they fixed it themselves, or if just a return is what I'll need.

I may just take it back and say screw it. I have tried about 3 laptops so far and really really like how this one is. It bothers me that this happened. I didn't get the extended warranty because that is a total joke.

I had the same problem - after two days the right-click portion of the touchpad felt like a flat tire. It doesn't matter for me though since I use a multi-finger gesture for context menu. See Touchpad in control panel.
