Hello everyone I have had my Samsung for around 3 months now and have really enjoyed it thus far. Unfortunately I was in the process of using Samsung software update manager to update "Easy Settings" and all hell has broken loose. My Wifi card is no longer recognized by device manager. It doesn't even show up, just bluetooth. My ethernet port does not function either. In every other respect the laptop works just fine. I am completely unable to access a network via lan or wifi, talk about frustrating. I have tried reinstalling both lan and wireless drivers. I'm just wondering whether anyone else has experienced a problem like this and what they did to resolve it.
    Thanks for the help!

Is the blue light on the F12 on? I would suggest going to my computer --> system properties (top banner) --> device manager (left side) --> maximize network adapter, then right click on "intel centrio advance n 6235" and uninstall --> then go to action (top banner) and scan for hardware changes. This will uninstall the card and reinstall it for you, it works most of the time when a piece of hardware of not working properly.

Sadly the Intel networking card doesn't even appear on the device manager. I'm going to try contacting Samsung support.

I would try resetting the BIOS. Unplug the computer from the mains, either remove the battery (if removable) or (for an internal battery) find the hole on the bottom through which you poke something to disconnect the battery then hold down the power button for a minute. Replace battery / reconnect mains and try again.

You could try blue toothing the net off your phone (or use a usb cable from phone) then go to IntelĀ® Driver Update Utility and run an auto detect to see if intel can find your hardware on your laptop seeing it's their drivers that run those devices.
