Hello,
I have problem with wi-fi, PC shows me that I am connected and Internet is working, but when I want to use for example Chrome or somethig else which needs network, I cannot.
I thought that it could be problem with SW, so I decieded to do clean instalation, but after that, problem still exsist.
This is not happend every time, the most offten is happen after turn on this PC and I have to wait something time or try connect to another wi-fi and again to my and sometimes it helped, but sometimes not and I have to restart PC or again wait, etc.
I don't know if could be SW problem or HW?
Anyone knows how to check it?
Regards,
Tomek

First check you have an up-to-date Intel WiFi driver. There is a utility here to do the checking.
The slow connection problem you describe is what I sometimes had happen before September 2013 when Intel released a much improved driver.
John -
I had installed the newest driver from intel.com before I did clean instalation, and it didn't helped too, but now I will check, maybe now it could help.

I am trying to install this file: Wireless_16.11.0_De164.exe, I clicked 2 times, I will see Intel logo and after a few sec it disappear and I don't get window to install this drive.

I've seen that happen with some versions of the Intel driver. It seems to do the updating in the background.
Check the WiFi driver version / date in Device Manager. Mine is 15.11.0.7 dated 26/Jan/2014 so you should have at least that, if not something newer (I haven't tried updating recently).
John -
Mine is 15.12.0.6 with 25.02.2014, so I have nevwer that you, but I think that this which I downloaded didn't install, because when I have coursor on installation file I will see information: version file 15.5.0.0

I think there is some difference in the version numbering of the installation packages and the actual drivers.
Anyway, if you have a 2014 driver then we can't blame the driver for your problems.
Are you using the Intel ProSET package or the basic driver? ProSET has been known to fight with Windows for control of the WiFi.
Something else to check is the WiFi adapter setting in the Power Plan. When on mains power this is best put on Maximum Performance.
And read this thread if you haven't done so already.
John -
I use basic driver, that is why I installed version with xx_DE (only driver without software).
I use optimialized from Samsung, when it's on power it's maxium performance, so it should be okey, because now I am connected.
Yes, I read this teahter and I set it, but I don't know why I don't have 300Mb/s on 2.4Ghz because I am very close router, but on 5Ghz in the same place, I got 300Mb/s :/ -

(i) There is increased likelihood at 2.4GHz of other routers fighting for the spectrum. You can check this using InSSIDer.
(ii) What other devices are sharing your router. You will need to check in the router's control panel to see this.
I might be wrong but I think the router's speed may be restricted to the slowest connected device. (That's why the last router I bought is concurrent dual band).
John -
2nd not, because I saw which is connected to my router.
So, what did u choose? I thought that dual band is the best option. -

I use the 5GHz band for my computer since I'm next to the router and the other devices around the house share the 2.4GHz. However we still all need to share the same internet connection which is slower than the WiFi.
John -
So, I have similar model, because I have DSL-N55U, when I am on the same floor which router I can use 5 GHz and it works very fine (almost every time I have 300 Mb/s), but when router is on 2 floor, and PC is on 1 floors, I can't use 5 Ghz, because I have very slow transfer (~10Mb/s), and network works very slow, so I have to use 2.4Ghz with 80-115 Mb/s (sometimes I have 150 Mb/s, and it is maxium, I don't know why, on router and pc I set up 40Mhz, so I should get more than 150)

5GHz doesn't pass through walls and floors as well as 2.4GHz. Weak signal is probably the underlying problem when you are separated by two floors.
InSSIDer shows the signal strength. You are probably better than -60dB when close to the router but could be nearer -80dB when two floors away. The problem isn't helped by the antennae in the X4C being along the back of the chassis.
The best fix may be to use a power line range extender to add a WiFi access point on the second floor. Note, however, that this needs both floors to be on the same electrical phase.

Do u know any other app, because this app needs license?

I found it, and I have about 50-60dB. I would like to compare with Apple Air, but on mac OS I can't find this 2 version for Mac, do u know where find it?
-

If you are getting 50-60dB then signal strength should not be the cause of any connectivity problems.
However, does InSSIDer show any other routers on the same channel?
John -
yes, one other wi-fi is on the same channel, but now I don't have problem, when I have on 1 channel like other router, but to compare with apple I would like to check 2nd PC.
