    I just purchased a NP900x4C - i7 1.9ghz, 8GB RAM, 256GBSSD and WIN8.

My issue is that the machine is consistently running at 6MB RAM used, even after a fresh reboot and no application running...(other than the tiles on the WIN 8 page).

Certainly this isn't normal. Does anyone have suggestions on what to look for? I've checked the task manager, but nothing is sticking out to eat up that much memory.

    Thanks in advance.

Uninstall IntelliMemory. It's some sort of caching program that uses a big chunk of the RAM. No one has reported on there being a significant performance difference with / without it (it might help if using a HDD).

    Thank you!

It's so funny, I searched online and on the forum before starting a new thread and couldn't find anything. As soon as you type in 'intellimemory' into search boxes, there's a ton of information.
