    Hi to all

I am a new owner of this 2nd hand laptop. One thing really bug me lately about my laptop. I purchased a new USB 2.0 external DVD burner. I go into BIOS by pressing F2 to change the boot priority but even if I set USB CD (DVD) as the 1st boot up device, it will boot straight to Windows 7 OS. In the BIOS, the USB CD (DVD) is N/A. After I boot into Windows I can use the external USB DVD burner.

Any idea how to fix this problem ?

Go into the Samsung Easy Settings control panel.

The first entry on the General list is probably Fast Boot. Turn it off if you want to boot from anything other than your primary storage device.

Also, you probably need to connect the optical drive to a USB 2.0 port (one without a blue tab inside).
