I am looking for a light and portable laptop to replace my old Asus G51 (7.5lb) gaming laptop.

I just sold off my olod G51 and find myself hating my wife's netbook that I am skating by on.

So my question is a comparison between: Asus U33JC and Samsung 9, outside of the hard drive what will I be giving and taking?

I know the weight and size of the Samsung 9 is far superior, but how the actual machine functions is what I want to compare.

I m unfamiliar on where to find benchmarks of the I5 in the S9 vs the I3 370M in the Asus.

Notebookcheck has a comprehensive list of CPU benchmark results and other data. However, actual performance data for the new CPUs are currently sparse but the CPUs have been put in the list at the estimated appropriate positions. The potential performance of some of the slower CPUs may be relatively good if they include TurboBoost but there will be a need to manage the maximum power in order to control the heat in a very thin chassis.
