I just opened up my notebook to go on as usuall. It started lagging and being really slow. Being the genius i am, i decided to take out its battery, while its still on. Obviously it shut off, so i turned it back on, but instead of turning on normally it went to a "Windows Error Recovery" screen. The only two options i have is 1) Launch Startup Repair (recommended) which when i try, loads two screens and then goes to a blue backgrounded screen and does nothing, and then option 2) Start windows normally, and when i try that, it loads up the Microsoft Corporation screen and then flashes a blue screen with white writing and restarts. The last thing i've tried is to put it in Recovery Mode, but that also doesnt work. When i hit F4 at the beginning blue screen, it switches me over to a green screen that says "Please Wait..." and then after a bit it loads "Samsung Recovery Solution 5" above the "Please Wait" and doesnt do anything. i have tried staying on that screen for 30minutes to an hour and it just stays the same.
If anyone knows whats going on and could help me, I would really appreciate it, thank you.

I wonder if the hard disk is dying. Problems with reading / writing indicate a dying HDD and would slow down the machine. Removing power while it was running could also have corrupted something.
I would take out the HDD, put it into a USB enclosure and plug it into another computer. Then see if you can copy the HDD contents (personal files first if the HDD is dying). Also install ActiveSMART on the other computer and see what it reports about the HDD health (select the right HDD).

The thing is, my netbook is so small, it does have a disk tray in it. Also, I left my netbook plugged in and on the "Samsung Recovery Solution 5" screen and now its actually working.

I would still run ActiveSMART and see what it reports about the HDD health. Unless I'm mistaken it uses a normal 2.5" HDD.

Right now im trying to back up all the files on my netbook on a external hardrive, and i cant really hook up my netbook to my PC because i cant find a double usb cord, do you think i could use anything else?

1. Yes get backed up in case there is a problem.
2. Now you have the netbook running then you can install ActiveSMART on it. Connecting the HDD to another computer was the way to check it while the netbook wasn't booting.

I just ran into a problem, 5-10 minutes after i started the backup, a pop-up came up saying "Windows partition or drive not found" i dont know what to do now.

Re-read my first post. It will be easier to extract any data if you are not trying to run Windows off the same HDD.
