X130, X330 and X430 notebooks have appeared on the Samsung download site.

At the moment only the BIOS is posted for the first two but the drivers and software have been posted for the X430, which usually indicated that it is going into production.

A monster user guide file is available here (posted on 16 June). The manual is generic and covers 11.6, 13.3 and 14 inch models. The specifications in the user guide are very generic:

    - Intel Celeron/i3/iS/i7 (Core)/Pentium Processor
    - Intel HM55 chipset
    - 9.5mm 5ATA HDD
    Intel HD Graphics (Internal)
    Nvidia GeForce 310M (External)
Nvidia GeForce 310M + Intel HD Graphics (Optimus)
    40W / 60W power supplies

The two smaller models have only one RAM slot. The 14" model has two slots.

The X series used to the the premium models, so it will be interesting to see how these models are different from the new Q series.

    Update:

The X130 drivers and software are on the Samsung download site. The X330 downloads include drivers, software and user guide (which applies to all the new X series), which usually indicates that it is entering production.

So far, I have not found any announcments by Samsung regarding these new models.

This website has what appears to be an machine translation of some Chinese text on the X330. It puts the weight at a not very light 1.65kg but claims up to 8.5 hours battery time.

Unlikely, based on the other X series of the past 5 years. Samsung normally only puts matte screens on the P series (which are based on the R series). Samsung are missing a market opportunity here because there is a market opportunity for the X series as premium business machines.
