Lately my notebook has been getting quite hot so I've been looking at a couple solutions to lower its GPU and CPU temperatures.
The heat coming out of the vent on the top left side of the notebook is REALLY hot...
My GPU and CPU temps have been reaching 90~93 degrees Celsius when I play games mostly, like Bullestorm, TF2, SC2.
I was thinking about getting a laptop cooler but I think a better idea would be to clean the fan first.
I tried to open it up but I just couldn't figure out how to get to the fan!
I took out all the screws on the bottom but I have no idea how to get access to the fan, is it even possible?
When I took the battery out I could see a small portion of the fan and it was REALLY dusty, it was caked in dust. I want to blow it out but I don't want to blow the dust into the notebook...
Has anyone tried this and succeeded or any tips?

I have a Samsung R480 and the only way I can clean the fan out is blow as hard as I can into it. Thats the only way I've found to do it. Personally, if I had the money, I would go with a MacBook Pro.

Being all laptops screw holders are made from plastic thus, if you open, you will find plastic came out with the screws, not for all but 1 or 2.
Better you use blower and blow the air inside the air ventilation holes, it will remove the dust from fan.
I already tried to open my netbook to install the SSD drive and later I found one screw become free.
you can try your luck. all the best.
