Hey,
I think I have a problem with my fan on my Series 7 Chonos. Just running a web browser will heat it up near 93 degrees celcius. As a result my keyboard can barely type and I need to plug in a mouse or else it lags.
I have reinstalled windows and am trying from Ubuntu as well.
Any thoughts?

Does HWiNFO show that the CPU is throttling?
Note that if you use the computer on soft surfaces then fluff tends to be sucked in through any air inlets on the base and will block up the cooling system. I would remove the base of the computer and check (but be careful with the screws).

Does your gpu also get warmer
The gpu may cause the laptop to get warmer
Remove every program you can in msconfig
If you have adobe remove it also, now try to see if it helps -
Do you have the 14" ?
