Ok well pretty much I didn't buy the series 9 15 because the ivy bridge was not out and I thought vizio would make a better trackpad and keyboard. Bottomline I need a real ultrabook. Vizio was close and i feel like series 9 15 is my only hope and it sucks that it is overpriced but oh well.

How is the trackpad, can you physical left click and drag with ease?

Does the keyboard have an end key

Do the fans come one alot and are they quiet

    How long in battery life.

looking to get the i7 or i5

and what ssd is in it.

and it sucks because I promise you the vizio which is alot cheaper has a better screen this screen is amazing. But for a working keyboard and trackpad I will have to take the loss. I hate samsungs displays it has been using.

There are buttons under the front part of the pad. I find that click + drag works as well as with a pad with separate buttons.

There are 4 dedicated navigation keys down the right side of the keyboard.

There is only one fan and the noise is more noticeable than on the 13.3" Series 9 (which has 2 fans). However, the fan is barely noticeable under light usage.

10 hours is feasible with a fairly dim display.

That depends on which model and batch. Watch out the the versions with 128GB SSD because it may have the Sandisk U100. So far, the 256GB versions have had either Samsung or a Liteon SSD (which is also a good performer).

Then be forewarned that the current display in the 15" Series 9 is not amazing (unlike the 13.3" PLS panel). If your usage does not need more than 4GB RAM then the 13.3" Series 9 may be more to your liking.
