    Hey guys.

A while back someone tripped over my charger cable and it yanked the laptop
quite badly, and after that it wouldn't charge again.

I've replaced the charger, the battery and put in a new DC jack. Still refuses to
charge. Everything else is fine, boots up with the small amount of battery life that was still in the battery.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

I would suspect that the power isn't getting through from the power socket on the computer to the power board. Maybe you have to dismantle it again and check connectivity with a multimeter.
