Hello all I'm getting a noticable "sound overlay" on Samsung Q310 plugging into my stereo, any ideas what could be causing this? The stereo seems to be fine plugged into my ipod etc.

What model is the sound chip, any ideas if i could just get the realtek third party drivers?

    cheers

From reviews I have read, the Samsung Q310 should produce very good sound. Do a test - if you crank the volume level up, can you easily hear the sound or music across a small room? If so, there is no issue.

Otherwise, I think you might have a faulty sound chip.
