I've somehow managed to break the little thing that sits underneath the spacebar ( The plastic latch thing ) so obviously I'll need to get a new one..

Anyone know where I can find one that'll fit this keyboard? I just checked my old sony laptop downstairs and the piece doesn't fit into this one. I've also looked at samsungs spares site to no avail. Do all Samsung laptops use the same latches under the keys?

    Hi.

A lot of Samsung keyboards on ebay for cheap, but none for the Q310 , maybe a compatible one as you said.

Why don't you get a replacement Q310 or a repair , or dont you want the hassle?

I dont see how you managed to break it, the keys seem to be very solid on my Q210

    Regards

    John.

I tried to pull off the space bar to remove some dirt that fell through and somehow it broke.

Would they repair it for that reason?

    Seems a bit petit tbh.

    Hi.

If you pulled the key off and it broke, I doubt they would repair it for free.

    Regards

    John.

Impressive service. If only they would provide the same service for the people with dying / dead nVidia GPUs.

Yep, that's a shame. My issue was pretty minor though, simply a 10 second job that I could quite easily have done had I the parts.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but my spacebar has started "sticking" at the left hand side, how did you remove your one (so I can not do it that way ha ha).

When you had it off, did it look like it was actually possible to remove it and clear any dirt?

If so, do you have any tips?
