    Q310 new battery

    Hi all,

    I'm just making this thread in case anyone with a Q310 or a similar laptop want to buy a replacement battery as well as having a question or two myself.

    I've bough one from ebay 9 cell 7800mAh "Japanese" and it seems okay, though it does not click into place I have to slide one of the battery retainers into place, but it does not take much force at all - no more than it takes to press a key on the keyboard.

    Here is the question - has anyone else bought such batteries and what are you experiences if so?

    EDIT: HAve not tested the battery life yet as it has just been charging over night. The estimated battery life with Windows is showing to be around 5-7 hours.

    I have had one for the last 7 or so months and its crackin, best accessory i ever bought for my Q310.

    Does it have a part number or equivalent to a Samsung part number? If so, what is it? Most likely the same battery would also fit some other Samsung notebooks.
