    Q35 noise?

    Hey everybody, looking for a new laptop and was considering the Q35. One thing I curious about is how much noise it makes?

    Very little, HDD can be a bit noisy on rare occasions but the CPU fan is very very quiet, can always turn ettiquette mode on though to make it silent!

    I'd agree with feederfan, although I'd say the noisiest thing in the unit is the optical drive which you can hear quite clearly during quiet bits in movies - but it's no noisier than average.

    A slightly different question about the Q35. How big, and what power rating, is the PSU?

    The PSU is 45x105x29mm, about 200g not including the cables and the rating is:19V 3.16A. Both cables are 1.8m long.

    Thanks. That is 60W and reasonably light. For comparison, the Samsung 90W PSU is 128 x 50 x 30mm and weighs about 310g without the cables.
