Anyone else having this issue? Picked one of these up at best buy the other day, and all I did was swap the drive with an SSD I had laying around and reinstalled windows 7 to get rid of all the bloat... Is there a certain driver I need to get this working? I've tried the BIOS update via their bios update tool, but it keeps freezing and never ends up updating...

Would appreciate any help on the matter.

Did you install all the Samsung drivers including the graphics?

    Hey John,

Yes I have. To be specific, I've installed all of the drivers listed here for windows 7 (x64), minus the bluetooth drivers. I've also tried installing the latest nvidia drivers from their website, and still no dice. For software, I installed only the Battery Life Extender, and Chargeable USB. For firmware, the BIOS update wouldn't work. I have also enbabled S3 wake in the bios. The computer manages to go into sleep mode, and seems to be able to come out of it, however, the screen stays off. I need to literally hold it down till it turns off completely to restore it.

Did you also install Easy Display Manager and the Microsoft hotfixes listed on the software downloads?

As for the BIOS update: Will it work if you temporarily replace the original HDD?
