    R20 upgrade, T2250 - T5750?

    is this possible in the Samsung R20?

    You would need to check if the R20 was ever sold with the T5750 on board so that you can be sure there is BIOS support. The answer may be in the R20 thread.

    it appears that it was sold with the T5500 and the T5300 are these compatibly?

    Unless you can find out that someone has already put the T5750 in the R20, I wouldn't go beyond whatever the R20 was sold with since the BIOS needs to recognise the CPU. The T5750 is more recent than the T5500.

    BTW, did you know that you can overclock the R20 using ClockGen. Do a forum search for "Samsung R20 Clockgen". I once took the T2250 up to 2.6GHz, but it was starting to get a bit warm.

    lol yes, i found that out a while ago. mine went to 2.4Ghz on the old Mobo, haven't tried my replacement (it OC's Well!)(also hence the 2.1ghz in the sig)
