Hi Folks. I have a R522 Samsung Laptop. Recently I replaced the Hard Drive because of crashing and Windows Warnings of Iminent Hard Drive failure. Everything has gone fine. I have reinstalled Windows 7 and done all the updates. I also installed the Blue function key software from Samsung so that I can see the On Screen Captions when I adjust the Volume level and Brightness etc. One thing I cannot recover is the Caps Lock On Screen Display. Each time you press the Caps Lock key you are supposed to get a little Caps Lock On or Off Caption on the screen (It is not a blue key function). The actual key does change the letters from Uppercase to Lower case. But I don't always remember what it is at before I start typing. I've also tried going into (F2) Set Up mode and selecting (F9) Set Up Defaults but this hasn't fixed it either. I know it's only a minor thing. But after changing the Hard Drive and installing the software and updates without any grief I would like to complete the job. I'm not to clever with computers so I'm pretty much at the end of my knowledge. Any input welcome. John S

A combination of Easy Display Manager and the Samsung version of the graphics driver should get those displays working. Did you install both?

Hi John Thanks for the reply. I downloaded the Easy Display Manager. That got me back my Blue Fn functions. But Samsung don't appear to have a Driver for my ATI Mobility Radeon HD4300. I went to the AMD webpage for drivers there but all they are offering is a Catalyst Control Centre Download. Regards John S

You can find the R522 ATI driver for Vista by visiting the Samsung Germany site. (Neither UK nor US sold the ATI graphics version of the R522). This link may work.

I can see four versions of the driver. I don't know which is most suitable.

Hi John. Tried opening all 4 versions. The last driver is for HD 2400. The previous ones are for the previous models or the Chipset driver. Regards John S
