The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    dell is taking my V1400 away and I'll buy another notebook, probably R70.

    I've seen it in person it looks alright but is there any problem?

    I am sick of those problematic dell laptops :mad: just want a problem free one and I don't even need to care about the customer service.

    Did you read the R70 thread? It's been very quiet recently which suggests that the R70 owners haven't got much to complain about.

    yeah I read that john, couldn't read any complaints seem R70 is the way to go.

    I have an R70 now for a few months, The only problem I have is I think my
    hard drive is slow
