    The samsung website says it`s either a nVIDIA GO 8400M or 8600M , but is it an
    GS or GT.

    As far as I know, all the R70s being sold in UK have the 8400M GS. For some reason Samsung UK haven't configured the model with the 8600 although it is a factory option. If I remember correctly, the R70 reviewed on this site is the Korean version with the 8600.

    ooo littlewoods is awfully expensive, did u try searching around for best deals on pricerunner etc.?
