    Hi all,
I have posted already on this forum asking for advice - http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?p=5908996
What I would like to know is what you think of the R780?
Does anyone have one who could tell me what the build quality is like and would you recommend it?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

    I only have a R480 from samsung,

i believe it is a pretty solid build laptop,

the only disadvantage is the after market support,
as Samsung 's market share in laptop market is pretty small,
don't expect much after market batteries for it
    also info about the laptop...

other then that, I love my Samsung,

R780 is a waste of money, just get R580 or the R480. It the same damn thing but bigger and not better.

No its not a waist of money
    1 the r580 is only i3 the r780 is i5
    2 the r580 is only a 15.6 screen r780 is 17inch
    I have the R780, muadebe
and trust me you wont go wrong with this laptop, dont listen to the idiot who says its a waist of money
But then it does depend on what you want it for, if you want it for gaming then go for it
