    RV509-A0CIN DRIVER FOR WINDOWS 8.1

    Hi I'm using a Samsung RV509-A0CIN... And I have installed windows 8.1 on it. For driver I have installed Samsung SW update. But it not showing any drivers. There is no RV509 in SW Update app.

    Please help me.

    This is a 2011 notebook and does not officially support Windows 8 or newer. You either have to use the drivers/ software provided by Samsung or research for other compatible sources to fill any gaps not automatically sorted by Windows 8.1 during installation. For example, the Settings program provided by Samsung for newer notebooks is for Windows 8/8.1 and may be compatible with your older hardware. If the chipset is Intel then try using a recent Intel chipset driver (if not already built into Windows 8.1).

    Thank you for your fast respond John... I have installed the Lan and WiFi drivers from Windows update with Intel Chipset driver as well.... But the Fn key is not working as easy display manager is no longer supported by windows 8.1... I need TouchPad driver and the settings application for Windows 8.1 x64.... Can you provide me the links of those two softwares?

    Use the Find Model facility in SW Update to look through the database. I would start with the slightly newer R series which you will find in the Others category. NP-RV511-A01IN has a set of Windows 8 drivers and software. The Settings program listed there (2.0.0.31) should work OK but whether the touchpad driver works depends on whether the RV511 has the same pad as the RV509. It's definitely worth trying.
