    Please help ! I just followed a rooting guide on laptomag in order to get new S5 rooted. Did everything it recommends and suddenly my device get a blackscreen during rooting. I rebooted my phone and all of data like contacts and text messages are gonna.

    Does anyone know how to get my data back? Really appreciated your suggestions.

    This is a notebook (computer forum) and there are no smartphone discussions here. NBR has a sibling smartphone forum at forum.brighthand.com.

    For my own part, I have used AndroidCentral.com and xda-developers.com for rooting advice and other Android discussions. I know nothing about Samsung phones or tablets, though.
