I've been having a difficult time finding the answer to this question searching through the forum.

Past laptops that I've had either came with recovery discs or you burned them the first time you started the computer. Does the Samsung Series 9 work the same way where you'll have a boot-able disc to re-install windows with if you want/need to? If so, how many DVDs are needed?

Run Samsung Recovery Solution and select the backup option.

Many of us received a Windows disc so only needed one disc for drivers and software. If you didn't receive a Windows disc then I presume you will be offered the opportunity to make a Windows disc as well.
