    Release of Samsung series 7 outside US?

    Does anyone know when the Samsung series 7 laptops will be available in the UK? I really want one but also need my laptop fairly quickly. It's been advertised on the Samsung US website for almost a month before the US release on 2 Oct but is not even mentioned on the UK website. Will I be waiting a long time? Any idea how long it usually takes Samsung to release a product like this outside the US?

    It could well be a few weeks. Let the folk across the pond do the first round of debugging. However, keep a close eye on the etailer's websites. New models sometimes are available to purchase before they get a mention on the Samsung UK website.

    On the mainland of Europe (The Netherlands) the Samsung 7 series is expected around 22-29 October.

    It's not even fully released here in the United States. For a while you could buy a washed down version of the 7 series, but now it's completely "sold out" in every store when in reality it never really came out to begin with.
