    Hi everyone :),

I am going to buy Samsung Ativ Book 6 this holiday; however I wonder if I can use this laptop without battery (plug cable only)

A much-asked question to which the answer so basically that it won't work and there's no need to try.

You have to remove the base to get to the battery and, if you remove it, you are likely to find that the computer will tip over backwards when you push the screen back beyond vertical because the battery location under the palm rest acts as a counter-balance.

Once the battery is charged up then the charging will stop until such time as the charge level drops by a few percent or you unplug / reconnect the PSU. So, if the computer is left plugged into the mains then there can be several days between top up charges.
