    Hey folks,

I've found out the hard way that the LCD panel on the Samsung Series 5 Ultrabook is very weak. I had the laptop in a rather strong laptop backpack, and a while later, I noticed that the lid had been dented, and the LCD panel is cracked pretty badly at the impact point (and extending all directions).

    Does anyone know:

    1) Is it possible to replace the LCD panel?
    2) Where can I obtain replacement parts?

    Cheers,
    Trevor

Either check on the Samsung support site for your country. It may list the authorised repair agents or search for one of the specialist LDC suppliers. The former may be the better option if you also need a new lid.
