In the process of swapping out the internal HDD of my Samsung NP700Z7C for an SSD, I managed to damage the internal ribbon cable that connects the SATA port of the HDD to the motherboard.
    Part number is BA41-01984A
Other markings include "Nike17 HDD" and "AFC K01373D0".
Does anyone have any idea where I could source a replacement ribbon cable? I imported the notebook from a US-based online retailer.
    Thanks a lot.

If you could post a picture of the damaged cable it would be easier to find. :)

It's cheaper than the $250 LCD / lid replacement I just had done by Intellisol.
