    Why buy SATA2 instead of SATA3. The board supports SATA3 and all SATA3 SSD should be compatible.

    Assume they are 9.5mm unless otherwise stated. Some manufacturers may both sizes but the Samsung 830 series is, I believe, 7mm only (which will still fit into a 9.5mm bay since the screw holes are in the same places).
