Hi.
My Samsung Q310 notebok is now out of warranty and i think the hard drive has gone but it may be the motherboard as well.
Does anyone know how much samsung charge to repair noteboks?
Thanks

Assume it won't be cheap. Perhaps we can help diagnose the problem.
If you think the hard drive is the problem then start by downloading and burning a Linux Live CD on another computer and then try to boot your Q310 using the Linux CD. If that runs OK then you know the mainboard is probably healthy. Or another option is to boot to the BIOS level diagnostics (try pressing Esc at the BIOS screen but it may be another key).

Thought it might be really expensive. Judt out of warranty. Always the case
.
Is the diagnostic tool in the bios setup screen where you can set time etc?
Have made a post here

about it as it seemed more relevant to diagnostic posts.
Samsun notebook repair cost? Any ideas of their charges?
