Hey, does anyone know of a Samsung laptop either screen size that has a bluray reader? I know the Series 7 Gamer does, but that is power I do not need. Thanks for any help.

    series 7 chronos doesn't have blu-ray.

Take a look at P550, I think that have blu-ray

You can buy external blu-ray player too, if you want to go with series 7

Are you located outside of the US? As mastypk said, the NP550P5C does, but only in the -S01HK (Hong Kong) and -S03AU (Australia) versions. I think the UK version might as well, but I'm less certain about that. The -T01US (available from Amazon for sub-$1,000) is a hunk of junk, as far as I'm concerned, but maybe an -S01US will be released soon.

Otherwise, count me in the same group as you hoping for a bluray-capable Samsung laptop in the States soon...

Samsung should really make a good middle-high end laptop. Not just extra thin okay ones and the Gamer one.

The Canadian version does too. I was looking at it but decided to save for the Gamer instead. The screen is matte and seems nicer than the other laptops in store (futureshop), but not nice enough for me.
