    Hi guys,
Im a poor med student who had his pride and joy n110 netbook stolen last week & i need a replacement

With the excellent vat back offer i can get the 9 series (IENP900X3A-B03UK) for 924euro. Harvey Norman - Samsung Laptop - NP900 - 9 Series
I can get the 5 series for 750euro
    SAMSUNG Series 5 NP530U3B-A01UK 13.3" Ultrabook - Silver | Laptops | pcworld

Is it worth it for an extra 200euro to go for the 9 series?
Same processor, ram, io ports right?

So 200euro for a much sleeker lappy with better battery and a 128ssd vs 500gig tape sata drive?

I *think* id prefer to use the 200euro to get a big ssd drive and put it in the 5 series
    comments please!!
    Thank you!

I would agree with you. Both have the same display resolution and the Series 5 gives you more functionality (3 USB ports etc) and is less expensive (but is slightly heavier).

I note that the deadline for the VAT refund deal has been extended.

Series 9 have the best display available. For me that is the most important aspect of a notebook but your miles may vary.
