I think I left my ativ book 7 ultrabook out in the sun too long. The metal back of the screen cover is ungluing itself so when I open/shut the cover, the laptop metal backing comes up a little at the hinge.

It's gotten bad enough that pushing the screen with the finger for touch control is very difficult since the laptop screen is not nearly as sturdy anymore.

What kind of glue can I use to fix this problem? Do I need to clean off the original glue (which feels really rubbery now) before applying new glue and if so what do I use to clean off the old stuff?
