I wand to buy today a new laptop today. Please help me choose between Samsung ATIV Book 2 NP270E4E-K01US - 14" - i3 3120m, 4GB RAM, 500 GB HDD and Samsung ATIV Book 2 NP270E5E-K02US - 15", the same configuration. The price for the 14" is $427 and for the 15" $430. I tent to buy the 14", because in the ATIV Book 2 NP270E5E-K02US - 15" review in Amazon is a review, that someone has a problem with a realtech sound driver and cannot download it from the Samsung support web page. Also I have one table to put my old 15" laptop and the new one, and I will have a little more space with the 14" model, because the table is too small for bed and with the 15" model I don't know if will have space between the two for the cooler of the second laptop.

I would personally get the 14". 1366 x 768 resolution is very readable at 14" and a 15" display just makes the pixels more noticeable. There is an adverse comment about the quality of the 15" display but the lack of comment about the 14" doesn't necessarily mean that it is better.

The one key difference I see is that the 15" model has a bigger keyboard with numeric keypad. That's not a feature I would want but you might. The 14" has the set of navigation keys on the right side of the keyboard (the same as on my NP900X4C) which I find very convenient.

Given that the internal hardware appears to be the same, driver or software issues with one model can be expected to apply to the other. I'm sure the Realtek driver issue is fixable.
