    Samsung Mini DV?!

    I got an Alienware M11x notebook and a Samsung Digital Cam VP-D371W which can ONLY connect to the computer via firewire. The problem is, my notebook doesn't support firewire and the question is... is there any way to connect it, buy an adapter etc?

    I have seen firewire to usb adapters but since usb is slower all the ones i have seen actually affect quality. If the laptop has an express card slot its the only real solution to add firewire.

    After having a look all around the notebook I find no express card slot.
