Hy, i have a samsung n140 for 2 years, reacently it started acting up. While running it suddenly starts a loud bouzzing sound from the speakers and sometimes freezes. If i try to restart it freezes after boot samsung logo and display a P in the upper left cornre of the screen, if i try to eneter bios it freezes on the boot screen. If i let it off for a cupple of hours, it works fine again.
I checheked the ram and hdd, tried reinstalling windows and a bios update but there is no change. I never overheat it or droped it down.

THX in advance and sorry for my bad english.

That it works again after cooling down has me wondering if it is overheating. Any notebook with a fan tends to suck in some dust along with the air and this progressively clogs up the cooking system.

One way to check is to run a program such as HWMonitor or HWiNFO and look at the CPU temperature. Under idle conditions it should be less than 60C and under heavy usage should not normally exceed around 80C. If the CPU temperature is OK then I wonder if some other component is deteriorating when hot and causing the system to be unstable. That would be very difficult to troubleshoot but a good clean of the cooling system should help reduce the temperatures inside of the chassis.
