So I'm stuck between the two! I need any advice on why I should get one and not the other,
Better battery life and smaller samsung verses faster processer, dvd drive, but would have to carry the power adaptor at all times. But then again I would have to carry a mouse to use the Samsung NC10 as the touch pad is a bit to small and not comfortable to use the click buttons with my big hands!
Thanks all

Well those are two pretty different notebooks. For one, the Samsung, although a nice netbook, is still a netbook, it uses and Atom processor, and isn't very decent for actual work other than surfing the web and emailing.
Second, depending on how important resolution is for you, the Samsung is only a 1024x600 resolution. Once again, okay for some web surfing and emailing, but for photo editing, it could be a pain. It's a pretty limited resolution. Even some websites will be cut off at the bottom requiring you to scroll down if they were formatted for 1024x768.
I really like my Acer Aspire One, which is also a netbook pretty similar to the Samsung, but it's a secondary computer for basic things when you're away from your main laptop or for something to carry around the house. I would never suggest it as a main notebook. -
Thanks for the info there. When I saw the screen of the Acer I was struck at how much more vibrant the screen was compared to the netbooks too. I dont anything in the Acer forum though about the 2930. Doesn't seem popular. I think I shall have to do a bit of posting there.
Thanks again.
